We’re all shook up over this casting news. According to Variety, Eric Bana is set to play Elvis Presley in the upcoming film, “Elvis & Nixon.”

Interestingly, “Princess Bride” star Cary Elwes will direct the movie (his directorial debut), which is all about a December 21, 1970 White House visit. Yes, Elvis popped in on President Nixon.

Apparently, the superstar singer wrote President Nixon a six-page letter asking to swing by, and also suggested that he be made a "Federal Agent-at-Large" in the Bureau of Narcotics and Dangerous Drugs.

As for who will play Tricky Dick, veteran actor Danny Huston is said to be in final negotiations to portray Richard M. Nixon.
